My babe and I love Ramen... we tried it once and we are hooked for the long haul!
I had eaten Ramen earlier in the day with my mom and certainly didn't mind having it for dinner when my babe suggested it for dinner.
Thanks to the search feature on Yelp, I did a quick search to see what Ramen places were near by. We were near the high rise bridge headed towards Greenbrier and the search pulled up this spot... I read a few reviews, but immediately noticed the high rating... no need to look further, I decided we were dining here.
This past Saturday night we arrived about 7pm and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Well the restaurant is petite and the low lighting sets an intimate tone... I loved it!!
We were immediately greeted once we stepped in... oh, parking wasn't an issue at all. We actually pulled into a space directly in front of the restaurant's door.
There was a table of two dining when we sat down... the waitress was friendly and pleasant from her greeting to her 'have a good night' - just a fun time.
We placed our order and within 10 mins or less we were ready to dine.
The presentation, the smell, the temperature, everything was impeccable!
I am super ready to return again and again.
Check out this place if you are in the area, I highly believe you will be pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem in Chesapeake. And I say hidden, because I have never noticed this place while traveling up and down Battlefield... but I see now :)
Have fun and enjoy life :) -

This place was great! Very friendly staff! I placed my order over the phone and it was ready for pickup 15 min later. Only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was for price. The gyoza was delicious, but $7+ is a bit much for 5 pieces. You can buy a giant bag in the frozen section for $5.
Ending on a good note, the ramen is delicious and I really like the variety. Oxtail was my favorite! Next time I'll go with some spicy -

The staff here are very friendly. We ordered takeout here so can't comment on the service but based on our interaction upon pickup, I would assume it's great.
Stopped by here after getting off my flight because this is the ultimate comfort food after a long day. I got the tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious. There was more than enough noodles (I couldn't finish them) and the soup provided didn't seem like much, but it was the perfect amount. The broth was rich and flavorful and if I had the tummy space, I would have finished it all.
Also got a side order of spicy salmon roll and it was great. They have a wonderful rice to fish ratio where the rice layer is super thin.
I enjoy this place and will definitely be back! -

In Chesapeake visiting and had never tried Ramen so decided to give this place a try!
Great service and sushi! Had a roll that was fried with spicy tuna and then tempura fried. Brought out eel sauce and spicy mayo for us to dip it in with no problem.
The ramen was good and I tried the one with teriyaki chicken. The chicken was cooked very nicely and it was good, but I just don't think ramen is my thing.
My husband had the curry with the chicken cutlet and liked it a lot. -

Visiting a friend in town and was craving ramen tonight. I walked in 30 minutes before close (my bad) and Aya, my server, was super accommodating and friendly. She was on top of service and recommended the best add on. I prefer a clear base soup, so ordered the Veggie Ramen, added pork and egg. Delicious. I will definitely be back next time I visit.
The salmon sushi was just okay, but the ramen definitely made up for it. :)
